What the block covers — and what it doesn’t

Six areas of day-to-day IT are inside the block. Everything on the right is quoted separately, stated up front so it never becomes a surprise in month three.

Frequently asked

Managed IT questions

Hours, scope, package changes and ownership — the parts that decide whether a block fits.

They do not roll forward — the block resets every month. That keeps pricing tied to real consumption rather than a bank you draw down unpredictably. If you are consistently under-consuming, we will recommend dropping you to a smaller block rather than let the difference go to waste.

We flag it at 80% consumption, not after the invoice. Overage is billed at an agreed hourly rate written into the agreement, and if it happens two months running we will propose moving you up a block rather than letting overage become the norm.

No. Managed IT covers the technology your staff use — service desk, devices, accounts, networks, on-premise servers. Cloud Managed Services covers the production cloud platform your systems run on, and is priced per estate rather than in hour blocks. They are separate agreements and separate budgets; many clients hold both.

Yes, up or down, with one month of notice. Businesses hire, shed sites and finish projects — the block should follow the reality rather than the contract you signed a year ago.

Yes, alongside Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and mixed fleets in between. Mobile device management for iOS and Android is included from the Super block up.

You do. Asset registers, network documentation, runbooks and administrative credentials all sit under your ownership, and offboarding hands them over as a documented pack. You should never need our permission to leave.

Hardware and licence costs, major projects such as migrations or office fit-outs, application development, and third-party vendor fees. Projects are scoped and quoted separately so they do not silently eat your support hours.
